Operation of the fan support advertising platform "Fan Ads"

• Ad space purchase: a service for buying advertising placement slots directly
• Crowdfunding: a platform for projects in which fans pool support to run a fan support advertisement

[Ad space purchase: amount payable by the buyer]

• Pre-tax price of the ad space (varies by placement)
• Consumption tax: pre-tax price x 10% (rounded up)
• System usage fee: pre-tax price x 5% (rounded up)

Total payable = pre-tax price + consumption tax + system usage fee

[Crowdfunding: amount payable by the supporter]

• Support amount: 500 JPY or more (set freely by the supporter)
• System usage fee: support amount x 5%

Total payable = support amount + system usage fee

[Crowdfunding: fees payable by the project organizer]

• Advertising commission: none

The following payment methods are available (all processed through Stripe Payments).

• Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, and others)
• Bank transfer

[Ad space purchase]

Credit card: an authorization (hold) is placed at the time of application. Bank transfer: the buyer makes the transfer after applying, and payment is finalized upon confirmation of receipt. In either case, we then check availability of the placement, and the purchase is formally confirmed once availability is secured. If availability cannot be secured, the full amount is refunded.

[Crowdfunding]

Payment is taken immediately when support is submitted.
There is no platform fee for organizers.

[Ad space purchase]

After payment is completed, we check availability of the placement. Once availability is secured, we confirm the purchase and provide guidance on the placement schedule and design submission.
The advertisement runs on the dates we specify after design submission is complete.

[Crowdfunding]

The service is provided immediately after support is completed.
Project progress can be checked on the project page within the Service.

[Cancellation of an ad space purchase]

• After payment is completed, we check availability. If availability cannot be secured, we refund the full purchase amount (including the system usage fee)
• After payment is completed, the buyer may not cancel at their own convenience
• Even after the purchase is confirmed, if we cancel the placement for unavoidable reasons, such as permission not being granted by the agency or rights holder, we refund the full purchase amount (including the system usage fee)
• If bank transfer is selected, transfer fees are borne by the customer. Transfer fees are not refunded, including where a refund is issued because availability could not be secured or permission was not granted by the agency or rights holder

[Crowdfunding: cancellation of support]

• As a rule, supporters may not cancel at their own convenience after payment is completed
• If an All or Nothing project is not established, the support amount is refunded (the system usage fee is not refunded)
• If we cancel a project for unavoidable reasons, such as permission not being granted by the agency or rights holder, we refund the support amount and the system usage fee in full

• Once a project has been created, the organizer may not cancel it at their own convenience

Refunds are issued in the following cases:

1. Availability cannot be secured

• We refund the full purchase amount (including the system usage fee)

2. We cancel the placement for unavoidable reasons after the purchase is confirmed

• For example, where permission is not granted by the agency or rights holder
• We refund the full purchase amount (including the system usage fee)

[Crowdfunding]

3. An All or Nothing project is not established

• The support amount is refunded
• The system usage fee is not refunded

4. We cancel a project for unavoidable reasons

• For example, where permission is not granted by the agency or rights holder
• We refund the support amount and the system usage fee in full

The timing and method of a refund may vary depending on the payment method and the payment provider.

If bank transfer is selected, transfer fees are borne by the customer. Transfer fees are not refunded, including where a refund is issued because availability could not be secured or permission was not granted by the agency or rights holder.

• We act as an intermediary between organizers and supporters and do not guarantee the success of a project or the quality, content, or legality of the advertising carried out
• Responsibility for the progress of a project and for the advertising placement lies with the project organizer
• We bear no liability for disputes arising between organizers and supporters, or between users and third parties
